About the Course

Physio Cupping is a manual therapeutic technique that uses special cupping cups to create negative pressure on the skin. The negative pressure affects soft tissues, fascia and superficial circulation and is commonly incorporated into manual therapy, sports rehabilitation and massage.

The technique originates from traditional forms of treatment and is now also used by many physiotherapists, massage therapists, sports therapists and other professionals working with the musculoskeletal system.

What will you learn and practice?

✓ Proper selection and use of different types of cupping cups
✓ Correct placement of cups and application of cupping therapy
✓ Practical application on the back, neck and shoulder girdle
✓ Treatment of the lower back, gluteal area and arms
✓ Treatment of the thighs, calves and Achilles tendon
✓ Treatment of the foot and plantar fascia
✓ Safe adaptation of the treatment to the individual, understanding indications and contraindications, and proper client preparation
