About the Course

The Tuina Chinese Massage Course introduces you to one of the oldest therapeutic techniques of traditional Chinese medicine, based on working with meridians, qi energy and manual massage techniques. The course is suitable for experienced massage therapists as well as beginners. You will learn the principles of Tuina massage, its applications and practical techniques for providing a comprehensive body treatment. The program combines professional theory with intensive practical training.

 

What will you learn and practice?

✓ Fundamentals of traditional Chinese medicine – yin-yang, the 5 elements, qi and meridians
✓ Identifying important meridians and acupressure points
✓ Basic and advanced Tuina massage techniques
✓ Practical application of Tuina techniques on different parts of the body
✓ Stimulation of meridians and acupressure points to support the body's balance
✓ Proper use of pressure, techniques and sequence during massage
✓ Combining Tuina massage with reflexology, as well as the use of cupping and moxibustion
✓ Safe application of massage, including the basics of assessment, indications and contraindications
